What are you using for weeds?

Since the pesticide ban in 2008, there has only been one chemical available for home lawns to control most broadleaf weeds, FeHedta a.k.a. Fiesta. New products are always being developed and new for 2024 is Weed Out Ultra Professional. This is a spot treatment for creeping Charlie and large leaf plantain. To control interlock and patios, the chemical is Ammonium soap of Fatty acids. Results are visible in approx. 3 hours.

Is it safe?

All products are tested and approved when followed by the label by Health Canada. It is safe to resume normal activity when the product is dry. I recommend 30 minutes in the sun and 3 hours in the shade. All weather conditions will affect these timelines.

What areas do you service?

Uxbridge and surrounding areas. (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa Port Perry Sunderland and Stouffville).

How do i make a payment?

Once an application is made, an invoice will be sent via email. Payment using E-transfer is preferred to matt.turfwar@gmail.com. If another method is your choice, let us know.

Do you offer free re-applications?

No. We do things right the first time. If there is a chance of rain in the forecast, we will not apply an application. If for some reason it is our fault, you won’t be charged for that application.
